Spain said to offer the second best quality of life in Europe

Spain has once again come out second in the European quality of life index. France came first, with the Netherlands third.....the Uk was firmly at the bottom of the list.

The yearly uSwitch survey always generates quite a bit of media attention and the results are closely scrutinised across all the member countries.

Living costs, spending on education and health, hours of sunshine, life expectancy are just some of the indices that are used to determine a country's quality of life.
